My name is Maria and I have run Darkness2Light Hypnotherapy since October 2019.  I am based in Kent but carry out zoom work nationally and internationally.  I specialise in helping midlife women, who may be going through menopause or not.  These women may want to make changes in  their lives, are feeling overwhelmed and stuck or are experiencing anxiety through going through menopause.  I have been there and understand. 

I also help Teachers who are struggling with anxiety and overwhelm through overwork, pressure, paperwork, expectations and having to deal with parental concrerns.   Teaching has got harder and harder and teachers are expected to perform to the absolute best of their ability whilst juggling family lives too.  Their mental wellbeing is essential for the good of the children that they teach.  Being able to relax is key and Teachers of often stretched to the point where relaxation is never possible.  

I will also be working with parents with SEN Children who are finding it difficult to cope and relax.  It's my passion.  I have a 7 years old SEN granddaughter and I have experienced the emotional and physical issues when dealing with a her and I know that it is often difficult for parents to cope with everything that a SEN child is going through whilst dealing with other offspring and, indeed, their own lives.  Learning to relax is also key here and keeping their mental wellbeing top notch whilst dealing with their SEN child's needs is very essential.  I will be helping them through talking, relaxation and solution focussed techniques to help them to find their way forward.
