Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
Qualified Professional Counsellor - Registered Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I studied for 4 years to become a Counsellor. My studies included:
- Btec Level 5 Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (2003) - a Foundation Degree level qualification.
- NVQ 3 Advanced Certificate in Counselling (2001)
- NVQ 2 Intermediate Certificate in Counselling (2000)
- My counselling qualification also includes hundreds of hours of client work.
- I have also completed many other specialised psychotherapy courses including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
- An ongoing commitment to Continued Professional Development.
As a result, I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The BACP is the elite professional governing body in the UK for recognition of qualifications and skills to practise ethically and professionally as a Counsellor or Psychotherapist.
Qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist
I trained at a recognised CPHT Centre of Excellence in Clinical Hypnotherapy and gained the following qualifications:
- Diploma in Hypnotherapy - DHP (2014)
- Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy - DSFH (2014)
In addition, I'm a member of the following organisations:
- National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH)
- Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapist (AfsFH)
I attend regular supervision sessions, courses and workshops to keep up to date, using the latest and best practice to continue to increase my knowledge.
