Alison Harper-Gardner

Hello,I’m Alison, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, with a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. I trained with the renowned Clifton Practice, founded in 2002 by David Newton, the pioneer of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. I’m a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AFSFH) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), the UK’s leading professional association. My membership ensures I adhere to a strict code of ethics. Prior to embarking on a career in hypnotherapy, I had enjoyed a long career in the manufacturing industry and had developed an interest in hypnotherapy after personally experiencing its benefits in overcoming stress associated with my profession and long periods spent working away from home and my family. Upon my early retirement and relocation back to the UK, I discovered that hypnosis proved also effective in helping me adapt to my new life in Devon. Consequently, I made the decision to retrain as a hypnotherapist to pass on the benefits of hypnotherapy to other people.
