About Carol Overend Solution Focused Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist

I'm Carol, a fully qualified Clinical Practitioner of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and one of the first in my field to practice in York and the surrounding areas. I live in the bustling little Village of Wigginton on the outskirts of York and I love it.

My personal experiences in life have Blessed me with an acceptance of people from all walks of life, and a passion for helping them, without judgement, without expectation, without barriers.

I love welcoming clients into my cosy therapy room, within my home, and pride myself on it's warm and tranquil ambience.

From children to adults, I can help you to understand what is happening within your brain and, by working together with consistency and trust, how we can alter and adjust the neural pathways within your brain, to bring about a preferred, healthy, and fullfilling future, in the way that you see it.

Outside of therapy, I am married with two grown up sons and a doggy mum to Molly. I am also an exam Invigilator at a local Comprehensive School. I love walking, spending time outside amongst nature is important to me as it keeps me in touch with who I am, it clears my head and keeps me grounded.

I believe we should never give up on our dreams and aspirations, they may take longer than we'd like to manifest, but remember, we must be in the right place within ourselves, to do them justice.

My passion in life is to help people live their best life, and through the incredible power of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, I am able to do just that.
