About Louise Gibson Hypnotherapy
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) uses a combination of talking therapy, up-to-date Neuroscience, and Hypnosis. It incorporates aspects from Cognitive Bevavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and is based on the latest Neuroscientific Research.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy offers a structured approach that starts with an understanding of what is happening in the brain when we struggle with a range of issues and what we can do about it.
It differs from some forms of therapy in that it focuses on solutions, looking out for strengths and opportunities towards a positive future and does not examine in detail or seek to understand the past.
Hypnosis or trance is used, when the body is in a natural deep relaxed state where we have access to the subconcious and can make useful suggestions towards your preferred future. You remain in complete control throughout and decide which suggestions may be useful to you.
