About NC Hypnotherapy

I am Nicole and I run my Clinical Hypnotherapy practice, NC Hypnotherapy, from my private therapy room in Witham and I work online too. 

I work with both adults and young children to help them manage their anxiety and depression, as well as there symptoms related to them. I am passionate about my clients to overcome their challenges so that they can live their best life.

After teaching for over ten years, I found myself at very low point. So many of my friends and colleagues had spiralled down the route of medication and being signed off work and I believe that it wouldn't have been too long before I joined them. I happened to stumble across Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and after only a couple of sessions, I felt like me again. In fact, it helped me come to terms that teaching just wasn't for me anymore and I wanted to use my skills to help people in a different way - so I decided to leave teaching and I retrained as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist.

I love that Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is based on recent neuroscience research and that positive changes can be seen in a relatively short period of time. Together we look at approaching issues in a person-centred and solution focused way. This means we do not focus on the past or the problem, but rather on what you want to achieve and your preferred positive future. Using hypnosis as a tool helps to enhance the work we do in sessions and clients leave feeling motivated and relaxed.
