About AmaVida Therapy

For many years (over 20 - how did that happen?!) I have run a business designing and delivering English courses to international corporate and individual clients. I have helped 1000s of people build skills and confidence to create the life they wanted. This has been a wonderful experience and I still continue to work with premiership football clubs (and look forward to bringing in sports psychology...very exciting!)  However back in 2014 I began working for a local independent school as an Intervention and Emotional Literacy and Support Teacher. Well I found that I loved this work, working with different agencies and Educational Psychologist to support the children in developing tools, strategies and confidence in their own abilities to really reach their full potential. It was beautiful work. So, the seed was sown...after having hypnosis myself for fear of flying and sleep issues I did a lot of research and finally trained with CPHT Hampshire. I opted for Solution Focus Therapy as I prefer the idea that we are dynamic and we are powerful, with a little support and the right tools we may even move mountains...I have watched people do this time and time again...and it's wonderful!
