About the Association

In recent years, Hypnotherapy has become increasingly popular; however, there are different forms of Hypnotherapy.  The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about this modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public.

The AfSFH aims to keep Hypnotherapists updated on what is happening in the world of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.  Research and science constantly provide new information and we are keen to support qualified Hypnotherapists and students alike with information on these advances. 

The Association's Chairman is David Newton who is one of the most experienced practitioners in the UK. For many years he has been at the forefront in promoting Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and other modern well researched areas. He co-founded the Clifton Practice in 1995 and continues to be the Senior Partner of a practice that is now considered to be the leading Hypnotherapy clinic in the Country. In 2005 he was made a Fellow of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy in recognition of his services to teaching.
